Woman Rides in Pickup With a Baby Chillin’ in the Stroller.
Keyona Davis was just babysitting, damn! Come on, it wasn’t her baby anyway. Plus, “It’s not like they give you a hand book or anything on how, what’s neglect and what’s not neglect, ” Davis said. Davis was riding in the back of a pickup with the baby she was babysitting sitting in the stroller with her in the bed of the truck. Someone followed the vehicle she was in and video taped the incident until police arrived. She was released with the judge hoping she now understood the seriousness of the issue since the child could have suffered from serious injury.
‘West Memphis Three’ Free After 18 years.
Three men, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, who many believe were wrongly convicted of killing three 8-year-old boys were freed Friday after nearly two decades in prison and after a judge agreed to a deal with prosecutors. They changed their plea from not guilty to guilty, which set them free because of what’s known as the Alford plea. These three men received amazing support over the past two decades. The 1996 HBO documentary, “Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills,” ultimately got the men their freedom as it drew the attention of many celebrities including Vedder, actor Johnny Depp and Natalie Maines. Wow, 18 years in prison and Damien Echols in solitary confinement for a decade. This must be surreal to the guys. [MSNBC]
“Abercrombie & Fitch proposes a win-win situation”
Sitch says it’s all a bunch of BS because in a video taken by TMZ in Jersey, he states he’d be ready to take the offer. The statement read: “We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.” Who know’s whether Sitch is lying or not because we all know of his recent compulsive lying on the show, but A&F seems pretty serious. This is hilarious. Go catch the video on TMZ. I didn’t even realize he rocked that much A&F until the statement was released, probably because I pay more attention to the hilarity of it all then some freakin’ sweatpants. Maybe that’s just me though… [LA Times]
